New Grizzly Families Walking Tour on Wednesday, August 13, from 8-9 a.m.
New families of Willow Grove are invited to walk the campus with some of our wonderful PTA representatives as they give a tour of our amazing school on Wednesday, August 13, from 8 – 9 AM. I look forward to meeting all of you!
Classroom Postings on August 19th at 1:00 p.m.
Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten classroom postings will be at 1:00 PM by our front gates. The teachers are hosting a “Meet & Greet” for parents and their children in their classrooms from 1:15-1:30 PM.
Grades 1st – 5th classroom postings will be at 4:00 PM by our front gates.
First Day of School is August 20th
Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 20th! Our staff has been working hard to get ready for the new school year. We can’t wait to begin working with all of our grizzlies and their families!
Back-to-School Night on August 28th
Back-to-School Night will be on Thursday, August 28th. PTA will have its first PTA Association meeting that night where they will discuss many of the PTA provided events they already have planned for the new school year. The schedule for Back-to-School Night is:
5:30 – 6:00 PM Grades TK-2 classrooms open
6:05 – 6:35 PM PTA Association Meeting in MPR
6:40 – 7:10 PM Grades 3-5 classrooms open

“Love & Logic” Parent Education Opportunity on September 11th from 5:45 – 7:45 p.m.
Save the date for an evening of “Love & Logic” with Dr. Charles Fay, leading author of books that provide parents with time-tested strategies for raising children who are self-confident, motivated, and ready for the real world! Thanks to our PTA for supporting this event!!!
Willow Grove’s Fall Festival on October 25th
Save the date for our third annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 25th, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM! Carnival games, the famous cake walk, and so much more will be there for your enjoyment! This is a festival you don’t want to miss!
Label, Label, Label!
Don’t lose those new school clothes, back packs, and lunch boxes! Please label your children’s items and check our Lost and Found frequently for any missing items.
